The Farmer’s Market is held along Main Street, right in the heart of the shopping center. Each participating farmer is required to have a "growers certificate" which means they must be the one personally growing the product, ensuring that no product is purchased from outside sources. Farmer’s Market attendees also have the opportunity to learn about the health benefits of consuming fresh fruit and vegetables, the natural growing cycles of a farm, weather patterns and how it affects agriculture, and most importantly what to eat and when to eat it.

Jalen’s Gift Foundation Event

Thursday, October 15th
6:00PM - 8:00PM

On The Green

On this special night, the Jalen’s Gift Foundation and its supporters will come together to celebrate, honor and remember those gone but not forgotten babies as the world honors Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. There are no words to describe the pain of losing a child and you are not alone. Today families will come together to light a candle at 7pm, which is known as the wave of light in remembrance, in honor of the babies that have passed away.

The Jalen’s Gift Foundation will read baby names, blow bubble kisses, release balloons, play a memorial video and share their stories. The park will light up with pink, blue, and white glow sticks, glow balloons, neon lights, and more in honor of the colors for infant loss. The event starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm.
